We are pleased to share wonderful news – Ms Vesela Georgieva, until recently Key Account Manager, is taking on a new role in the company as Business Development Manager at Creditchoice Ltd.

With over 20 years of experience in the financial sector and 7 years as part of the Creditchoice Ltd. team, Vesela has demonstrated her professionalism, dedication, and ability to build trust with clients. Until recently, she was Key Account Manager, where she dedicated herself entirely to client needs and built long-term partnerships.

We invited Vesela to share more about her new position and her professional journey. In the following lines, she answers a few questions that will help us get to know her better and understand her goals and challenges.

How do you feel in your new position as Business Development Manager?

For me, this is a recognition of my work at Creditchoice so far and, naturally, a new challenge in which I believe I will be able to pass on my knowledge and accumulated experience.

What experience do you have in your career with clients and banking products?

I have been working in the financial sector for over 20 years. I started gaining experience from the position of Sales Specialist, moved through the challenge of Sales Coordinator and Key Account Manager as part of the teams of several Banks, and currently, for 7 years, I have been part of the Creditchoice team.

What will you be doing in your new position?

Naturally, I will continue to work with my clients as before, but alongside that, I will support new and existing colleagues in their work, trying to get them to “steal” at least a little of my professional experience. I will also work on developing business relationships and offering our services to both new and established companies. I will assist in organising upcoming events and presentations of the “Mortgage Broker” service (which, unfortunately, is still not well-known enough) on behalf of Creditchoice Ltd.

What skills and experience from your position as Key Account Manager will help you most in your new role?

Flexibility and adaptability, the ability to prioritise tasks, proper use of time and resources, and last but not least, long-term thinking for goal-oriented planning.

How will your work differ from before?

In one word, it will be more dynamic.

Will you continue to work with clients and handle loans?

Yes, of course, I will continue to work with clients. As I have always said, this job is about building long-term relationships, new contacts, and friendships. Our work does not end with the finalisation of a single loan; it is a process that can develop into future long-term relationships.

What does “Business Development” mean to you within Creditchoice?

Developing new partnerships, managing client relationships, and creating a strategy for business growth.

What will be your main priorities and challenges?

There are usually several key aspects:

Regarding main priorities:

  1. Expanding the client base.
  2. Market trend analysis – understanding current economic and market conditions to create strategies that meet client needs.
  3. Managing key partnerships, namely initiatives to increase sales and strengthen the company brand.

The leading challenge for me is, and will continue to be, training and developing the team, as well as providing the right solutions to clients to ensure their satisfaction.

What goals do you set for yourself in the short and long term?

In the long term, I would like to participate in the expansion and development of the company, and in the short term, I would like to see results and satisfaction from the colleagues to whom I am passing on my experience.

Who or what motivates you most in your work?

The best motivation for me is the successful completion of a specific task and the achievement of a certain goal. Every satisfied client is a small step upward for me.

What, in your opinion, distinguishes Creditchoice as an employer?

Stability as an employer that can offer security to its employees, as well as development opportunities.

What advice would you give to colleagues who are also striving for professional growth?

Never give up, and the result will follow.

What recharges you outside of work – hobbies, interests, ways to reset?

I love to travel; I do it at every opportunity, and it especially recharges me.

If you had to describe Creditchoice in a few words, what would they be?

High-quality, adequate, and professional customer service.

They can always count on professional consultation combined with transparency and flexibility, as well as future assistance and advice if they need them.
