Interview with Aneta Dimitrova
Hello, Aneta! Please introduce yourself and tell us about your experience so far.
My name is Aneta Dimitrova, and I am a Key Account Manager at Creditchoice Ltd. I have been working with the company since its founding 7 years ago. I have five years of experience in the banking sector, where my work involved offering banking products and services, customer service and consulting, and training newly hired bank consultants.
Tell us about your successes in 2023.
I am happy to share that my efforts were recognised with an award from the manager, Mariya Petkova, for excellent work and the highest sales result for 2023. Over the past year, I have consulted hundreds of clients and helped most of them secure financing and realise their projects and dreams.
What types of clients turn to you?
We do not handpick our clients; to us, every client is important. Most of my clients are people who contacted me following a recommendation from other satisfied customers. I have clients from various fields and positions in both the public and private sectors. As a Key Account Manager, I handle more specific cases—clients with unique income situations, such as those with income from abroad, freelancers, self-employed individuals, etc.
How do you help a client who wants to take out a loan from a bank?
I have a degree in psychology, which helps me immensely in communication and in my approach to clients. My personal commitment to every client is to be on their side, to protect their interests, and to realise their dreams in the most seamless way possible. This is why we become close with our clients—because every deal is an experience we share with them.
How does a meeting between you and your client usually proceed?
A face-to-face meeting is very important to me so that I can sense the client’s attitude and extract the most essential information to understand which direction we should take. To ensure we are on the same wavelength, I adapt to the client’s pace—whether they are very busy, more informal, or in need of more detailed information. Ultimately, my job as a Mortgage Broker is to make the client feel calm, cared for, and to ensure they have full trust in me.
What advice would you give to people who need financing?
I would advise anyone in need of a bank loan to always seek consultation, as a Mortgage Broker can more objectively assess how realistic the client’s expectations are regarding their financial capabilities. We are familiar with the banks’ terms, their specificities, and requirements for clients; we present this information to the client so they can make an objectively informed decision. It is important to note that an independent Mortgage Broker will save them the time spent visiting bank offices in search of offers, where no bank consultant will have the necessary time to provide a thorough consultation. They simply don’t have the time that we do. We work with fewer clients and focus on quality service. In fact, that is our value—we have information from all the banks we work with and can offer proposals from all of them.
